Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has tweeted a tease about upcoming DLC for The Last of Us. It’s called ‘Outbreak Day’ and presumably puts us in the middle of the cordyceps infection as it spread.
Actor Troy Baker who voiced Joel also teased the impending DLC. Three add-on packs have been promised by Naughty Dog, including one as a single player while the others are multiplayer.
No further information has been revealed yet but there’s plenty of backstory to The Last of Us, including Joel’s early days of surviving ‘by any means’ long before he met Ellie.
”It’s almost here. What are you doing to prepare? #OutbreakDay” tweeted Druckmann. Baker added: ”Where will you be when the outbreak starts? Tomorrow, @Naughty_Dog will tell us how we can survive.”
