The developer promises that the economy is highly realistic, which features trading, building and resource management, with a multitude of factors affecting prices, such as pirates, warring factions disrupting supply routes, broken station power units, shot-down freighters, good relations with merchants, and so on.
The streamlined trade management system also allows the player to direct freighters to collect or sell goods, and stations and manufacturing facilities to manage resources and production, freeing the player to perform other tasks while the ships and facilities assigned orders will then autonomously carry them out.
X Rebirth is due to be released on the 15th November 2013 this year.
