When people think of Asian MMOs, South Korean-based Lineage is the game that usually springs to mind, and more or less put NCSoft on the map.
The publisher has announced that since the series debut in 1998, Lineage and its sequels have raked in over $1.8B, with millions of subscribers.
The Lineage series has been localized from South Korea to Chinese, American and Japanese markets, and went free to play in 2011.
Currently, Lineage Eternal has been in development since 2011, and will be heading into beta late this year.
