11 bit Studios has announced a sequel to their critically acclaimed reverse-tower defense game, Anomaly 2, which picks up where the original Anomaly: Warzone Earth left off.
Anomaly 2 finds the human race a nomadic species, wandering around a frozen tundra looking for food and supplies. However, the world is overrun by alien machines. Humans now have mechs, however, and every mech type has its own powers.
The game also features multiplayer in which one player does tower defense while the other does tower offense in a humans vs. aliens battle. The single player campaign features what the developer states will be ”a more intense strategy experience.”
