EA Maxis has just released the Amusement Park DLC for SimCity which boosts our tourism industry as we design a major park filled with amusement featuring roller coasters, go-karts, Ferris Wheels and more.
We can even spread the park out by building a mini-railway between the sites. Now Mayors can bring in the tourist big bucks without using landmarks or huge event stadiums.
Of course there is the little matter of forking over some of our own money for the Amusement Park DLC first. So how much will it set Sim Mayors back? That would be £7.99.
It’s the same price as the City Sets, which just alter the appearance of buildings when certain landmarks are around. Frankly this price point is rather high considering most aren’t going to be able to fit an amusement park in many of their current cities - it’s freaking huge! £3.99 would have been much better.
