Brink developer Splash Damage has announced that the studio is sending out keys to members of the game’s Founder’s Club to engage in a closed alpha test for their upcoming multiplayer shooter Dirty Bomb.
The developer also released a new dev diary focusing on the Echo tech that is being featured in the game. Echo was developed by sister studio Fireteam project lead Dave Johnstone, who is best known for creating the superpopular Counter-Strike map de_dust.
Echo is an analytic software that uses cloud-based services to collect every event in every game session worldwide. The software then visualizes this data which will allow the devs to tweak balance, classes, skills, weapons, frame-rate and latency accordingly.
