Eugen Systems has patched in a bunch of new content for its large scale real-time strategy game Wargame Red Dragon, adding 12 new units and an additional full-length story campaign.
The Second Korean War is an alternate history storyline set in 1992 in which the Korean conflict never ended, and sees China, North Korea, and the Soviet Union facing of against the US.
”Armed with the Patriot missile system,” says Eugen, ”the USA buffs their anti-air defenses, as do the Chinese with the JH-7. The South Korean K9-Thunder marches onto the field, to the detriment of the USSR’s elite Spetsnaz GRU infantry units.”
Lots of new toys. In the new campaign a coup against Mikhail Gorbachev causes the Soviet Empire to gravitate towards their fellow Communist powers in the East, leading to all-out war with the US and the UN.
