Ubisoft has announced the first in-game event for Panzer General Online. The D-Day event will feature multiplayer battles themed around the 70th anniversary of the Allied landing and the subsequent battles across Normandy.
Expect new cards, new units and a new ‘Medals’ event currency that can be traded for more goodies. Amongst the new items are the “Bergetiger” armoured fighting vehicle and the powerful command card “Recover”, which allows you to immediately bring back a destroyed vehicle.
The D-Day event will start on June 11 and end on June 25, but you can begin building up your force in anticipation right now. Once the event opens you’ll be able to start it up from a new section in the main menu, jumping straight into a battle against other players.
