Arcade racer Formula Wincars has started its funding campaign on Kickstarter, hoping to raise $42,000 from backer pledges. Developed by Spanish developers DragonJam Studios, the game promises the ”craziest racing arcade game ever”, with 8-player races and both car and racing team customisation.
Formula Wincars will be a free-to-play title, with various maps, cars and driver skills to experiment with. It looks rather a lot like Mario Kart. ”Formula Wincars will be free to play,” say the developers. ”It is important for us to clear up this point: We have been players longer than we have been developers. So, when we say free, we mean free. There will be no need to pay for anything and nobody will enjoy any advantages for paying.”
