Haggard Games, a Russian developer, is taking their Death to Spies stealth action series to Kickstarter in a bid for $85k. It’s set during World War II and the Cold War, and Haggard unveil plans for mod tools.
We play a KGB agent and Death to Spies 3 takes place across five countries, in Europe and the US. The story revolves around the J.F. Kennedy assassination, and the conspiracies around it.
The team liken their stealth action series to Hitman, Commandos and Splinter Cell games. We control a team of characters with multiple ways to complete objectives.
”The Disguise System in the game allows your character to safely pass guards and to enter forbidden zones. NPC behavior is dynamically changed and based on what uniform you are currently wearing. You can also hide and sneak behind covers, large grass or shadows. Turning lights off to become less visible is another option for hiding.”
”Find ways to eliminate your targets with a so-called accident. A push down the stairs, adding poison to food or drinks, turning on the electricity at the right moment, using air in a syringe or drowning someone in a bathtub. If you take them out like that no one will have any idea that you have been there,” teases Haggard.
The Death to Spies 3 Kickstarter campaign is due to begin today, and Haggard Games hope to wrestle at least $85k from backer wallets so their stealth action series can return sometime around October 2015.
