Daedalic Entertainment, the German developer seemingly responsible for just about every single adventure game released these days, has announced Anna’s Quest, a darkly comic point and click tale that’s coming to PC in 2015.
The teams describe it as ”a fable-driven, black comedy ’˜point and click’ adventure game that’s inspired by The Brothers Grimm & Hans Christian Andersen… with a sci-fi twist!”
You play as Anna, a young girl searching for a cure for her grandfather’s mysterious illness who gets herself captured by a witch. Careless. The witch experiments on young Anna, who begins to develop telekinetic powers. With the help of a boy called Ted who’s trapped in the body of a teddy bear (still following this?), Anna escapes and must now find both her grandfather’s cure and a way back home.
I’m still not sure where the sci-fi comes in, but this sounds endearingly nuts. Anna’s Quest is set for a PC launch in Spring 2015.
