Developer Young Horses has released two new levels, or ‘shorts’ as the team calls them, for slapstick physics-based game Octodad: Dadliest Catch.
‘Dad Romance’ and ‘Medical Mess’ continue the story of the base game, and are available for free to all owners. There’s also a bunch of other additions, including multiple mice support for co-op and temporary checkpoints for levels.
”After completing the story of Octodad: Dadliest Catch you might have been left wanting for more,” writes Young Horses. “Maybe you were curious how Octodad and Scarlet got along after their fateful first meeting aboard the fine vessel ’˜The Cod of War’? Perhaps you’re curious what Stacy and Tommy do with their lavish amounts of free time? Both of these are things you’ll be able to explore in the Octodad Shorts “Dad Romance” and “Medical Mess”.”
If you’ve missed wobbling about, destroying your immediate environment and generally making an exhibition of yourself, this should keep you entertained for a while.
Patch 1.03 also fixes several bugs, notably a save wiping glitch and in-game lag. You can read the full patch notes here. Octodad is currently on sale for a week at 50% off, and anyone who buys the game will also get access to the new levels.
