Gearbox has released another developer diary for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, this time showing off the four hero characters players can choose from and some of their special skills.
Star of the show is clearly the irritating/loveable robot Claptrap, whose special action ability looks appropriately ridiculous.
Claptrap’s general insanity and incompetence is represented by a random ability chosen when you activate his special move - anything from giant electrified disco balls to summoning minions and causing your companions to hurl grenades about.
Other characters include Wilhelm, who summons two drones and slowly turns more and more cybernetic as you upgrade him; Nisha, who has a whip and can enter a bullet-time style gunslinging mode; and Athena, who packs a shield that you can hurl at enemies Captain America-style.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel hits PC and last-gen consoles this October.
