Warner Bros has unveiled the full details of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s Season Pass, which includes new story missions, new skins and leaderboard challenges. It’s just what Tolkein would have wanted!
The Season Pass will set you back £19.99 ($24.99), which is a not inconsiderable amount of money. So what do you get for popping down that cash?
The main standouts from the pass include; the Guardians of the Flaming Eye mission, which has you beating up Sauron’s elite lieutenants outside the gates of Mordor; the Trials of War challenge mode, which sounds like timed hack and slash survival; two missions packs, the beats-hunting Lord of the Hunt, which has you tracking down various gribbly creatures through the wilds of Mordor, and The Bright Lord, which sees you play as major story figure Celebrimbor.
There’s also a bunch of vague extra content, including ”runes, skins and additional future add-on content”. Below you’ll find the full list of features from Warner Bros. Shadow of Mordor comes to PC this October 2, with consoles getting it slightly earlier on September 30.
