You may remember Cassandra the Seeker from Dragon Age 2, in which she spent the majority of her time getting annoyed at rogueish dwarf Varric’s tall tales in a between-chapter plot framing device.
There’s no more such narrative trickiness this time around; Cassandra is hitting the road with the Inquisitor and his/her band of misfits in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Bioware has released an interview video with voice actress Miranda Raison discussing what’s in store for the no-nonsense warrior.
”She’s not exactly ‘softer’ than when we last saw her, but there’s definitely a more human side to her now,” says Raison. ”She’s a warrior, but she’s got her inner demons as well, and I think that makes her quite human.”
Turns out that the world getting invaded by hordes of slavering demons can change a person. Who knew? I’m sure there will still be plenty of Bioware’s trademark party squabbling between Cassandra and Varric though, who share roughly the same ideals, but reflected through very different backgrounds and outlooks on life.
Not too long to wait for Inquisition now, the game drops on PC and consoles this November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe.
