Brainiac always struck me as a pretty silly DC villain (stiff competition, I know), which means he’s probably just about right for the wacky world of Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
In this third entry Batman teams up with a bunch of other heroes, and some supervillains by the look of it, to stop Brainiac from using the Lantern Rings to destroy the planet.
It looks a little more space-focused than you’d usually expect from a Batman game, with several alien planets and the cosmic themed Lantern Corps popping up. Good old moody Gotham still makes an appearance, of course.
Lego Batman 3 includes over 150 DC characters, and just about every voice actor currently working. It’s out on PC and consoles later this year.
