Vlambeer, developers of arcade dogfighting game Luftrausers, have revealed that their indie title has already turned a profit in the two days that it has been available for purchase on Steam and the PSN.
Studio co-founder Rami Ismail revealed the news in a Skype interview with Eurogamer.
”Steam recouped our expenses (2.5 years, two people + office + freelancers) in two days,” said Ismail, adding ”at that point, PSN was doing about half of what Steam was making. And all other platforms and distribution methods combined are small but still super worthwhile.”
Luftrausers sees players take to the skies to fend off a variety of enemies including planes, ships and submarines in an addictive arcade style shoutouts. We rather liked it.
