Zagara, the zerg broodmother from StarCraft 2, is joining Blizzard’s cross-IP Heroes of the Storm MOBA.
According to her website bio, Zagara ”takes on the role of a Specialist who excels at infesting lanes with creep to aid her in pushing lanes.”
As you’d expect from something called a broodmother, the majority of Zagara’s skills in some way involve her slightly gross ability to spawn multiple minions. Her move list includes Baneling Barrage, which launches a stream of exploding critters, and Infested Drop, which bombards an area with a Zerg drop pod.
Heroes of the Storm is is currently in technical alpha, with Blizzard still tight-lipped about a potential open beta. You can sign up via your Battle.net account for the chance to play.
