Black Friday is a peculiarly American phenomenon (though worryingly it’s spreading into Europe) in which thousands of shoppers gather to tear each other to shreds in an attempt to be the first to grab overpriced toys for a negligible discount.
EA is celebrating this cultural event/capitalist riot with a huge sale on Origin, in which some very decent games are available for up to 75% off.
Technically it’s not Friday of course, but here you go anyway. Amongst the titles on offer are such hits as Mass Effect, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed: Rivals, FIFA 15 and more. Origin’s roster is still a bit disappointing compared to the Steam library, but there’s some good deals to be found.
It’s not just new EA titles either, you’ll find a mix of third-party games from Ubisoft (Black Flag, Far Cry 3) and classic titles (Wing Commander, Theme Hospital and more). The sale runs until December 1, so check it out while it’s still up.
