Fans of biting people and draining their blood/ hitting people with a great big sword might be interested to know that the Revelations DLC for Castlevania 2 is out today.
You’ll play as Alucard (wait a minute, if you spell that backwards…), son of Gabriel and possessor of shampoo advert-quality hair. The DLC takes place just before Castlevania 2, and sees Alucard searching for secrets about the Belmont family. And slicing things up with two swords.
An official press release describes Alucard’s powers thusly:
Alucard has his own unique, powerful abilities, including use of the Glaciem and Igneas powers, in addition to vampiric abilities which allow him to transform into a wolf, a swarm of bats and even turn back time. Blood also fuels capabilities, as drinking the blood of enemies intensifies Alucard’s immortal powers.
Revelations is available now on Xbox Live, PSN, and Steam for $7.99.
