Hollywood’s Empire magazine has a lone image of director Duncan Jones working on the set of the Warcraft movie adaptation. It appears that it could be the set of the Stormwind throne room.
Filming for Warcraft is taking place in Vancouver and it’s expected to open in theatres around March 2016. Blizzard delayed the film because of a clash with the new Star Wars: Episode VII.
Originally Warcraft would have screened December 18th but Disney announced the same date in 2015 for the new Star Wars flick. Industrial Light & Magic is working on Warcraft.
Dark Horizons scanned the set image from the latest issue of Empire. The plot likely follows an uneasy truce between Alliance and Horde factions as they battle the menace of gold farmers and bots sweeping through the kingdoms stealing everyone’s crafting materials and bringing fetch quests to a crawl. What else could it be about?
