It sounds like Fallout 4 should keep players occupied for a good long while – according to an interview with OXM reported by Gamepur, the game will feature 275 separate XP levels, one for each perk.
Each time you level up you’ll be able to bump up a perk, and the total amount of perk levels will tie into your overall XP rank. How varied and interesting the perks are remains to be seen (personally, I always felt Obsidian’s New Vegas trumped Fallout 3 in that department), but we’re probably looking at many hours of gameplay to unlock everything. I imagine most people will take the Skyrim approach, and simply max out whatever they find interesting.
Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 in one year. It’s astonishing that people get anything done at all. Bethesda’s next epic launches on PC and consoles this November 10.
