Dark Souls III, which developer FROM Software wants to be the last of the series, already had an April 2016 launch window. Now, publisher Bandai Namco has nailed down an exact release date for Western audiences, April 12. The company also revealed the Collector’s Edition and the GAME UK exclusive Apocalypse Edition of the game.
The Apocalypse Edition is merely a preorder version of the game for GAME UK at a £39.99 price on PC, and features just a metal case and a CD of the official soundtrack, as seen below.
The Collector’s Edition is far more elaborate, and will set the gamer back £99.99 regardless of retailer. It also includes a metal case and the soundtrack CD, as well as a Red Knight figurine, an A4 DARK SOULS Trilogy hardcover artbook, 3 iron-on patches, a cloth game-map and an exclusive box.
Are you looking forward to the third iteration of Dark Souls, not counting Demons Souls and Bloodborne?
