The prequel DLC Batgirl: A Matter of Family for the troubled Batman: Arkham Knight has just gotten a trailer. It’s set before the events of Arkham Asylum as Batgirl by then had become Oracle.
Joker has nabbed Commissioner Gordon, Batgirl’s father, and he’s threatening to kill him if she or Robin gets Batman involved. While not as strong as the Dark Knight, Batgirl has her own unique gifts for crime fighting.
As the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is more-or-less in Early Access right now for those who own it, we’re unlikely to be getting the DLC as early as July 14th if we own the Season Pass. Otherwise it is set for launch July 21st. Rocksteady continues to work on the PC version as Warner Brothers pulled it from sale.
So far only one patch has been released addressing the major problems of the game, which includes turning on the special rain effects that were surprisingly absent despite Nvidia showcasing it as a top quality feature.
There’s no known release window for when Batman: Arkham Knight will return to PC.
