Ah, Geralt. Always getting yourself in trouble, aren’t you? In this, the first teaser trailer for upcoming Witcher 3 expansion Hearts of Stone, our beardy lothario manages to get himself kidnapped and branded with some kind of magical mark.
Interestingly, his kidnappers appear to be wearing an unfamiliar, vaguely middle eastern armour style, which unfortunately reminds me of the rubbish Dorne bits from the last series of Game of Thrones.
”Step again into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, this time hired to defeat a ruthless bandit captain, Olgierd von Everec,” reads the plot synopsis attached to the video. ”This expansion to “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” packs over 10 hours of new adventures, introducing new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance and a brand new storyline shaped by your choices.”
More of the good stuff you’re used to, essentially. We’ve even got a release date - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone launches this October 13.
