Big Robot’s aristocratic cyborg survival game Sir, You Are Being Hunted has received an update that brings its multiplayer element up to version 1.0, meaning that you no longer have to opt in to a Beta version in order to play.
”Over three-hundred thousand Sir, You Are Being Hunted players can now enjoy the company of friends and enemies whilst being hunted to death by robots,” writes the developer, ”thanks to a multiplayer client and the ability to launch dedicated servers. Multiplayer mishap was a feature promised way back in the mists of the 2012 Kickstarter, and marks the end of a splendid journey for the Big Robot team.”
Included in the update are a bunch of fixes and tweaks, including direct trade with other players - previously you had to use loot stashes in order to swap items. This technically marks the end of general development on the game, though Big Robotmis planning on further updates, including one to bring all the multiplayer advances across to singleplayer.
