[ul=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugen_Systems]Eugen Systems[/url] will release a third free DLC pack for its real-time strategy game Wargame Red Dragon later today, adding more than 60 new units for the armies of Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Norse Dragons brings the Scandinavian Coalition ”onto an equal footing” with all the other major factions in the game, and adds new planes, infantry, tanks, and IFVs.
Now I don’t pretend to be an expect on military vehicles utilized by Scandinavian armed forces, but military buffs amongst you might recognise the Saab Gripen jet fighter, Frømandskorpset special forces, and NASAMS missile system, which are amongst the new units that have been added. The ANZAC faction also gets a new Vickers Mk.11 patrol vehicle as a little bonus.
Not bad for a free update. In related news, Wargame Red Dragon is on offer for 75% off on Steam this week, as are several other games in the franchise.
