War of Rights, the American Civil War-era military shooter, has made its relatively modest Kickstarter goal with just over two days left of crowdfunding. To date, the game has attracted over 1800 backers who donated almost $108,000.
In the latest update, the developer thanked backers, stating, ”We want to say THANK YOU to all of you who believe in what we at Campfire Games want to do for War of Rights, and we hope that you continue to spread the word because the more funds we can get, the more things we’ll be able to do for the game!”
Not coincidentally, the game received a surge of backing during the Veterans Day holiday. As for stretch goals in the next 48 hours: ”We’re now working towards reaching some Stretch Goals (which we’ll reveal later) to make the game even bigger and better,” teased project lead Mads Støjko.
GameWatcher’s TJ Denzer interviewed the game’s historical advisor, Clark Morningstar, about the game and maintaining period authenticity. War of Rights expects to see its launch in November 2016.
