The Lost Isle update for MMO TERA has dropped today, adding a new area called Stepstone Isle that offers story quests for characters of all levels.
To help out new players, character creation has been given a bit of a tweaking, with the addition of an ”active starting menu” that lets you try out the various races and classes in the game before you commit. For veteran players, there’ s a new ‘Returning Hero’ option in the game’s main menu that will help you ”seamlessly re-engage with TERA via gear upgrades and walkthroughs of new features and essential skills.”
Also new to the game is the Gridiron Academy, a level 40-64 version of the level 65 Gridiron PvP battleground, with added Vanguard quests and reputation rewards. Finally, TERA’s annual in-game Halloween celebrations are set to kick off later this month with the reintroduction of ‘Kyra’s Pop-Up Potion Shack’.
