Epic Games has released a warning that the company is currently “experiencing a phishing attack “, and that you should not open any emails purporting to be from the studio.
“DO NOT CLICK LINKS in emails claiming to be from from us for now. Investigation continues,” reads a tweet from its official account.
Epic has also posted in the Unreal forums, asking anyone who has experienced any issues or noticed anything strange to contact them.
It’s the second time in the last two months that the company’s been targeted. Back in July the Epic forums were attacked, and the company had to inform users that their infromation may have been accessed. As for this latest incident, we’ll keep an eye out for any further statements from the company.
