The pledges just keep rolling in for Harebrained Schemes’ Shadowrun: Hong Kong Kickstarter, with funding now past 400% their needed goal. It’s floating around $427k right now, unlocking a new runner.
Gaichu is now able to join our party of Shadowrunners in Hong Kong; a former Red Samurai. The stretch goals are being vanquished one-by-one, and there’s still over a month left on the clock!
There are over 33 days left on the Kickstarter campaign for the studio’s last entry in the Shadowrun series, which really sizzled with their last expansion and standalone Shadowrun Dragonfall.
”Our next funding goal is Enhanced Cyber! That means new cyberweapons with new animations and effects. Sure, it means other stuff like cutting edge cybertech… but come on! Cyberweapons? Sa-weet!”
The stretch goals following the ‘Enhanced Cyber’ will unlock side missions for two more of the shadowrunners, expanding the game’s magic system, and revamp the art and gameplay of the Matrix, which is at the princely pledge sum of $700k, but at the rate this is going…
