Zero Sum Games has released version 1.1 of its charming little space strategy game StarDrive 2, titled Imperial Might. There are a lot of different fixes and tweaks, but the main changes come to the game’s ship construction and military systems.
AI enemies now have more than 1,500 ”bad-♥♥♥ ship designs” tp choose from, and their ship-building routines have been tweaked for a greater challenge in the late game stages of a campaign.
Zero Sum has also added a few ”Game-Changer” challenges for experienced players; Titan Quest challenges you to win the game using only Titan-class warships, Total War disallows colony ships and forces you to capture all your holdings from other races, and Newcomer gives all your enemies two additional colonies for a much harder experience.
There are also new techs, broadside mounts for torpedo weapons, and ”a number of new technologies and ship modules that will be available through a new in-game event.” You can find the full patch notes, which include various big fixes and balance changes, right here.
