The time-bending adventures of high school photography nerd Max in Life is Strange is set to continue next month, confirms developer Dontnod. They couldn’t nail down an exact date presumably because of all the time rewinds.
The studio, which created the memory-altering Remember Me, has said they’d like episodic releases no further than two month’s apart. Episode 2 dealt with some rather heavy stuff in which Max took a central role.
While it’s an adventure game, Life is Strange likes to masquerade as something bigger - letting us thoroughly interact with its environment and a good deal of the people populating its scenes. As Max we discover we can affect time, and essentially undo mistakes or even manipulate a conversation to our benefit. What teenage girl would want that power?
