Gamers who are tired of the generally Nordic theme of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may want to try the Tava’s Blessing mod, which dramatically shifts the game to an Arabian-style desert setting, along with three quests and new NPCs to encounter. The central hub is the titular desert port city of Tava’s Blessing.
The three new quests include Breaking Point, which has the player deciding whether to side with Rabah, an influential and powerful drug dealer, or with the Imperials who want to arrest him - and also want to control the black market. The second quest, Tania’s Request, involves the title character having been robbed, leaving it up to the player to solve the mystery of who stole her possessions. The third, Skoomer’s Shipment also involves Rabah and a drug shipment.
Aside from the new location and the quests, the mod features exotic foods, new merchants, new and unique NPC dialogue options, new Interiors, and a new romantic option. The mod is the first from a modding group called the Cyber Network, whose mission statement is ”We aim to create new guilds, new land mods and bring more immersion and fun to Skyrim.”
