Early Access title European Ship Simulator is set for a full release on February 20, developer Excalibur has announced. To celebrate the fact, the studio’s released a trailer titled; “Eight Minutes of Internal Tug Gameplay.”
Oh, yes my friends. Eight whole minutes of hot tug action. Snark aside, if the game’s a tenth as popular as the strangely hypnotic Euro Truck Simulator 2, fans are in for a treat.
“This brand new ship simming must-have brings six of Europe’s busiest ports together as you captain a wide variety of vessels between Calais, Dover, Rostock, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Gibraltar,” writes Excalibur. ”Sail a passenger ferry, tugboat, bulk carrier, fishing boat, large ocean cruiser, LNG tanker, cargo container or speed boat on a multitude of varying missions.”
The game contains realistic weather conditions to give you an extra layer of challenge. Hope you’re tuned in to the shipping forecast. Said weather engine will affect the physics of the water itself, which is bad news if you happen to be at the helm of a tiny fishing boat.
