Developer ESTsoft, Inc.has announced that Art of War, a free update for the long-running MMO Cabal Online, is now available for download. The update ups the difficulty level to “Elite” and adds new areas, quests and arenas.
According to the developer, ”players can jump onto the war-torn battlefield of Memoria Chrysos with their determined teammates to work towards the ultimate goal: Glory on the battlefield. Champions will be tasked with capturing buildings and securing vital resources in order to strengthen their position and defeat the enemy guardians.”
The update also adds a new custom PvP battle arena in which players can face-off against each other and test their mettle. There are two modes for the arena: friendly combat or an “all-in” challenge to find out who is the mightier warrior.
Cabal Online was launched ten years ago in 2005 as a post-apocalyptic fantasy free-to-play MMO using the freemium pay model, using real world purchases in game stores.
