Call of Duty: Black Ops III has been out for a couple weeks now with millions of players playing world wide, yet something is missing. Call of Duty fans might recall that many of the previous games had a double XP event immediately following release, strangely absent from Black Ops III. Well fret no more. Starting tomorrow, Black Ops III will be starting a double XP weekend.
The announcement was made via the Treyarch official Twitter, apparently following a poll voted on by the fans (Not that people were going to overwhelmingly vote no). Players that take part in multiplayer competitive and zombie mode this weekend will be able to score double XP in order to level up towards new available weapons, equipment, and, of course, Honor status.
The double XP weekend will start tomorrow, November 19th at 10AM US PST and end on Monday, November 23rd 10 AM US PST, so players actually get a bonus day to take advantage of over the long weekend. It might be time to rearrange some schedules and boost your stats in some Black Ops III.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Wonder what they would have done if people actually voted no?
