Valve has announced the Fifth Annual Saxxy Awards winner for 2015. For the past few years, the company has given out accolades to the best machinema using Source Filmmaker, most of which use their licensed properties, with several categories, including Action, Comedy and so on.
The videos have mostly used models and dialogue from Team Fortress 2, but others have used Left 4 Dead, Half-Life and even Goat Simulator.
The overall winner this year is Turbulence, which examines what happens when you have a plane full of drunken Scouts from Team Fortress 2 race a plane full of Heavies - when the Soldiers and Spies decide to join in. Needless to say, hilarity ensues.
The Saxxy Awards debuted back in 2011, and were restricted to Team Fortress 2. Valve released the Source Filmmaker prior to the next Awards allowing the competition to use other games.
