Daedalic Entertainment has announced that developer Funatics’ Viking-themed take on the Settlers city building genre, Valhalla Hills, will be launched on 2 December 2015 worldwide.
The game, which has been localized in a whopping ten languages (including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese plus Chinese, Japanese and Korean), puts the player in charge of a Viking settlement, giving the minions their own jobs while putting buildings down to increase the town’s productivity.
The publisher also released a time lapse video to show off the gameplay at a very, very fast rate, and to give an idea of what the procedurally generated landscape might look like; the game uses the Unreal Engine 4 graphic engine.
GameWatcher has posted its review today, giving the title a 6.0/10 score in its review, calling the game both fun and frustrating, with the pathfinding being the biggest issue in it.
