The first instalment of the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles series from Ubisoft will be releasing tomorrow, April 21st, with the first taking place in 16th century China with the young Shao Jun.
She returns to her native land ”hell-bent on revenge” after a national purge by the recently crowned Jiajing Emperor. Unlike other titles in the series, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is a 2.5D action adventure.
India and Russia are the next to destinations for the mini-series, which explores the 19th century Indian Sikh Empire and the aftermath of the Russian Red October Revolution. These two will be releasing later. Climax Studios developed this spin-off in collaboration with Ubisoft.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China releases on PC April 21st.
