The sequel to the popular Knights of Pen and Paper +1 is now available, as Paradox Press is releasing both a $9.99 standard edition of the game and a $14.99 “digital deluxe version” of Knights of Pen and Paper 2.
For those not in the know, Knights of Pen and Paper 2 is a classic 16-bit retro-style roleplaying game, except in this case, the player is roleplaying a pen-and-paper roleplaying meetup that is roleplaying an adventure, complete with cosplaying players and a snarky dungeon master narrating the events of the game.
Based on the mobile game of the same name, the PC version of the mobile game includes the expansion, “Fist of +1 Fury,” where players not only fight an onslaught of monsters, but cultural references, such as certain heroes on the half-shell. Naturally, such a game requires 1080p and 60 frames per second to get the full graphic lushness of 16-bit graphics
The “digital deluxe” version includes a digital art book, soundtrack, and new in-game features such as an Epic Mount, and additional in-game content.
