Spearhead Games’ action-RPG Stories: Path of Destinies, an action-RPG that puts you in the role of a fox, was announced yesterday as a PlayStation Network title. Shortly after, however, it was revealed that a PC version would be released as well.
In the game, the player takes on the role of a devil-may-care roguish fox named Reynardo, who finds himself drawn into the final battle between the Empire and the Rebellion - and it’s not looking good for the rebels. If that set-up sounds familiar, it must be noted that Reynardo is a scoundrel who prefers to go solo.
The game is very reminiscent of Bastion in which the player has a narrator who comments on the action. In Stories, however, the player can choose which direction the stories goes. The game can go from a tongue-in-cheek adventure to a dark Lovecraftian nightmare if the player makes certain choices.
