Bandai Namco has announced that the Classic Lotus downloadable content pack is now available for Project Cars, based on the famed British car manufacturer founded back in 1952. The DLC features one free car to whet gamers’ appetites.
The DLC car pack includes the following rides:
- 1970 Lotus Type 49C Cosworth (this car can be downloaded for free)
- 1965 Lotus Type 40 Ford
- 1963 Lotus Type 25 Climax (F1)
- 1966 Lotus Type 38 Ford (Indy)
- 1967 Lotus Type 51 (FF)
-
</ul>
The DLC pack also includes two famed raceways, the Rouen les Essarts and the Hockenheim Classic. The former is the legendary venue that used public roads with a winding, twisty track with blind corners. The race at Rouen was discontinued, having enjoyed its hayday from the 50's through the 70's, but the track has been faithfully reproduced.The Hockenheim track is based on the notorious original raceway where slipstream battles were fierce, and not the modern one.
Project Cars was released back in March and earned an 8.0/10 score in GameWatcher's review.
