Even in a cast full of particularly unpleasant characters, Mortal Kombat’s Reptile stands out. The acid-spewing lizard is on his way back for Mortal Kombat X.
He’s the latest character to be confirmed for NetherRealm’s upcoming brawler. Needless to say, something horrible happens if you carry out his Execution move.
In this instance a glob of acid spit to the face, followed by doing something undefined but presumably unpleasant to your opponent’s head. Lovely. As with every fighter in MKX, Reptile will offer three distinct fighting styles, each of which will give him unique moves and tactics. This video on Youtube which popped up back in August seems to confirm that one of those fighting styles is an ‘Iron Skin’ form, which makes Reptile hard to juggle, and stops him taking ‘chip’ damage. It also pretty radically changes his look.
That’s now thirteen fighters confirmed for Mortal Kombat X, which is on the way to PC and consoles this April 14.
