It’s finally happened - 2K Games has just made an offer we’re hardly going to refuse. Mafia III is going to debut with a ”worldwide reveal” next week at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany on August 5th.
Wannabe Mafiosos will be plunging into ”organised crime through rich narrative storytelling” soon enough. The first trailer for Mafia III will release August 5th @ 1.00pm GMT+1.
Mafia III is described as the ”the next installment in the popular series known for immersing players into a world of organised crime through rich narrative storytelling and a beautifully crafted game world featuring period-accurate cars, music and fashion.”

Gamescom 2015 runs August 5-9 in Cologne, Germany with the ever-growing event open to the public from August 6th. The only thing that could ruin our joy now is if it had some silly timed exclusivity deal for a console, or was a Wii U exclusive. Nah, that wouldn’t happen… right?
California-based studio Hangar 13 is developing Mafia III alongside 2K Czech.
