When a press release came across the desk today titled ”Escape from Tarkov shows what ‘weapons modding’ really means,” I thought it was a bit of a hard sell. By the time I hit the 15-second mark in the video below, however, I realized these guys were completely serious.
For reference, Escape from Tarkov is described as a ”hardcore story-driven MMO featuring elements of FPS and RPG,” though unlike many RPG/shooter hybrids, it seems that the focus is squarely on the gunplay.
Look, just watch the video. I’ve legitimately never seen so many gun mod options in all my life, and I live in Midwestern America.
