While some would wait until the official arrival of Winter to bring in the obligatory sale, the rest of us would rather just name and blame a season for the current weather conditions. So when your car door is frozen shut in the morning, it's time to expect those Winter savings, and GOG is the first to jump at the opportunity.
GOG is, as usual, ready to pull the trigger. Bouncing between Halloween, Autumn and Black Friday sales, the experience is becoming very similar to buying a couch; apparently there's never not a better time - if that makes sense.
Following a similar setup as their last sale, they're not just trying to entice you with heavy discounts on new and old titles. They're giving some away, too. Stating how hundreds of titles will land in the sale over the course of the next two weeks, savings will scale up to 90% off with more being added at around noon CET every day. Titles available to unlock through their XP system include Shadow Warrior: Classic Redux, Shadowrun: Dragonfall and STATIS.
The sale itself lasts until December 11. Not quite the end - or the beginning - of Winter, but it's a commendable effort.
