Bumblebee has announced that their medieval city building simulation Villagers will be leaving closed beta and launching on the 25th March, 2016. They’ve also released the final beta patch for the game today.
Villagers puts players in the role of nurturing a burgeoning village set during the medieval age of Europe. Players must ”gather and manage natural resources for buildings, ensure a plentiful supply of food and water to keep your villagers happy and allocate them jobs to continually improve and expand your settlement.” Various hazards include illness, bandits and wild animals.
The game will also include a Story Mode where the player follows the tale of a group of settlers through six missions. ”The campaigns guide you through building your first town, trading with merchants, food and water provision, managing the emotional well-being of your villagers, coping will illness and defending your townsfolk from attack!”
