Now available in Steam Early Access, Greywolf Entertainment and Iceberg Interactive want fans of the genre to flock around their title and help carve it into the genre entry they want it to be.
And it won't just be up to the players to shape the size and scope of Dawn of Andromeda, as the developers are still hard at work crafting and finalizing new systems to slot into the Early Access title as time goes on. While not present just yet, we'll see their take on 'Eras' soon which should include some unique scenarios and stories to go along with player choice.
There's no shortage of space-bound 4X titles on the market right now, but Endless Space 2 is always looking for feedback.
In terms of balance, they're hard at work on the required tweaks to combat diplomacy and racial improvements. They're also putting a heavy emphasis on configuration options - though whether this means campaign settings or graphical settings isn't clear.
