For those players who enjoyed the bizarre walking simulator QWOP, Curve Studios has announced that a new game which takes QWOP and gives it more of a narrative. Manual Samuel will be released this coming Summer. Developer Curve Digital calls it ”an evocative tale of love, friendship, and septic truck accidents.”
The game revolves around a man named Samuel, who ”has it all, the cars, the girls, the money.” Unfortunately, he’s struck by a truck and quickly killed. However, the unlucky man finds himself bargaining for his life, and strikes a deal with Death. He must do everything manually, including breathing, for the next 24 hours. ”It’s a super fun, colourful, comedy physics adventure - kind of like if QWOP and Monkey Island had a lovechild,” said the developer in a press release sent to GameWatcher.
